of a computer all week. Got a couple thoughts, nothing earth shattering.
First, the biggest problem from last year was not being physical enough and not being able to run the ball; that has not improved one bit, and that is a bad sign obviously and utterly inexcusable.

Second, when fl scored the last td, a freshman qb ran in standing up with not only starters, but senior starters in the game for the vols(hefney, karl, etc..). unacceptable.

Also, I feel like this whole ugly thing boils down to one thing for me anyway. the team has not "bought in" to fulmer or anyone else on the coaching staff. that is what I see when I watch this team and it has gone on for about 6 or 7 years now.

These are not the vols I grew up idolizing. this is not vols football and I dont have to bend over and take it. neither do any of you out there. I have never read where once a fan starts to follow a team, they are locked in for life, no matter what kind of team is rolled out there. it is a 2-way street, whatever team you follow has to hold up their end of the bargain. that being said, I am a vol for life. I cant help myself. we all will just have to bunker down until changes are made. Oh and until hoops season!:birgits_giggle:

Well stated. If anything happens to this coaching staff, I have a feeling this will be the first thing we hear from the current players.

First, is coaching / screw the one dimensional game.....can't run because we don't have riggs/houston, henry, lewis, etc. arian is an average back.

Houston and Riggs don't belong in the same sentence as Henry and Lewis.

Houston and Riggs don't belong in the same sentence as Henry and Lewis.

Houston and Riggs couldn't even carry the jock straps of Henry and Lewis.

Houston and Riggs sucked compared to Henry and Lewis.

Houston and Riggs were tail backs for the University of Tennessee, in addition to Henry and Lewis.

:p

Let me ask you this.....

Would you be happy if this season ended and Arian runs for 1005 yards and 8 TD's and Coker runs for 1107 and 6 TD's in the same season.....And we go to a New Year's bowl and win 38-7? Would you take it right now.

Sounds like 2004 with Houston and Riggs combo.
