I heard from a couple of inside sources that are very close to the athletic department that there is talks that possibly in a couple of years, a statue of Fulmer could be put up with him holding the NC trophy at the entrance right under the Shield Watkins Sign. What do you guys think about this?

God might spite thee when you start praying to the Fulmer statue.

I think if this happens I will know where to find you and VolBeef before games.

I thought you were done posting here? What happened to that?

Idk, I can see them putting a statue to him up, but not anytime in the near future. Like 4-5 years away. Leave Lane to do his magic w/o CPF around

Maybe they should consider a triumvirate of statues to include Dickey, Majors and Fulmer. All joined at the hip.

I think it is a great idea just for everything he has done brought to the program. hes done more than anyone however, i dont think it should be too soon IMO. if they put something up in his honor too soon it'd be like "hey we feel bad and heres a token of our appreciation" they should wait a few years maybe 5-10 and Coach Fulmer will be embraced more by the gesture, maybe when we win another championship, what do you think?

Good idea, a really good idea in fact. I 100 percent agree with your statement and I hope it does turn out that way.

I heard Phil's going to replace the band leader and attempt to do that high step thing for 50 yards during pregame. It's a marketing ploy to get people in their seats faster and sell more popcorn.

I'll be there.

Horrible idea. Build a memorial of someone who actually cares or cared for the university, not a phony, greedy man.

I'm sorry but he wasn't at once phony or greedy, Fulmer had a relationship with these kids that no coach will probably ever have and if you want to lash back out on me, then go ahead and do it, just proves you don't know jack s***, why do you think so many players were bitter and pissed at the decision? HMMMMM...... I'll leave you to think about that one. Screw Fulmer Haters, just proves you weren't a real UT fan in his years, or were you? I bet you were jumping up and down in 1998 when they won the NC, I bet you were jumping up and down in the consecutive years they beat UGA and Florida and Alabama. Think about it, then make a logical statement.
