Seems like a lot of us, including myself, are getting pretty excited about next season. Let us not forget that we do this every year. After ever mediocre season we take a look at what we're left with and say "heck fire, we have a pretty good team next year and all these players are going to have break-out seasons dad gum."

Not trying to be negative - just stating the facts.

Yeah, but we usually don't return 17 starters. I think that we shouldn't get really excited because everyone remember the last time we were returning our whole defense with all of the seniors and the number 2 ranking. I think we should just wait and see if we live up to the hype before we get over confident and have another 05'.

i'm not getting to excited, i have jack daniels that stares me in the face everyday to remind me why i got back in contact with him.

You really think you can control this...Look at the Board if we can talk about Tebow in the NFL then why not the 2008 season....

I wasn't confident going into 2006 or this season.

2008 is our year to get over the hump. :shades:

What's it hurt to dream a little? We have a bowl game to go and then six, make that seven, months to contemplate. Wake me up Jan 1 and then I'll see you again come the end of Aug... In the meantime, sweet dreams :snoring:

One of the best pils for football withdrawal is a good dose of postive thought. And yes this year you can say not just heck fire but hell fire we are going to have a great team next year.

This is not reserved for UT fans. Every team from #1 to #120 does the same thing.
