Suggestion 1

Make Bronco Mendenhall an offer BYU can't match.

Suggestion 2

Don't let John Chavis follow Fulmer wherever his dismal path may lead.

Suggestion 3

Find Trooper Taylor. Give hime lots of money. Have him put a little fire and passion back in those kids.

Bronco will not leave BYU, He's a mormon in mormon territory..He loves it there...Chavis...ehhh...As far as Trooper Taylor is concerned, Keep him in Oklahoma and let him belly bop all he wants

It's been about a month since I talked to a couple of friends in Provo, but they are afraid that Bronco will leave eventually for a team in the SEC and believe that Tennessee would be that team , if offered. He realises that his chances of taking BYU to the BCS each year are slim to none and he has enough ego to want to compete with the big boys in the SEC.

ego is half the problem we have with the current regime. when they can't right the ship they refuse to walk away. If Mendenhall has an ego he will probably overstay his welcome too! If someone has an ego it better be someone like Saban, someone who has earned it. Like Gruden anyone?

The next coach better have an ego in the SEC. If you don't think you can beat Saban or the other great coaches then you don't have a future here. The problem with UT is not CPF's ego, it's Hamilton's lack of cajones to get rid of him.

Ego and intensity are exactly what the program needs. Far too long, UT football has been predictable and boring. Coaches like Mendenhall and Taylor and Gruden and, why not, Mike Gundy from OSU with Trooper have the passion needed to light fires under the feet of the young men on the team and motivate them beyond their potential. What the offense needs is motivation. Fulmer lacks it. Hasn't the will to instill it in his team. Without fire in the coaching staff, the offense won't ignite.

NO NO NO to Trooper. The guy has done nothing but hop around on the sidelines.

He is not the answer to our prayers.

It doesn't have to be a coach from a major conference or from the NFL, look where Florida got Meyer.

Bronco wouldn't be bad. In fact he would be 50 times better than Chris Peterson. I'd rather have the guy at a small christian school in Texas that beat the hell out of Bronco's Fightin' Mormons though.

Utah who blasted their opponent in their BCS game isn't the same as hiring the Richmond coach.

are you guys telling me that we cant get a higher profile coach than what is being said. on volnation.we are in the best conference.and was one of the best football schools in the sec. we arent that far off from having a really good team.its not like tennessee football needs totally rebuilt.

Hamilton needs to approach Cowher or Gruden with a blank check. That is the best bang for our buck, Nothing less will do.
