I'll send him a doughnut and thank him for his losing record against top 25 opponents in Neyland Stadium the last 10 years.

I will always celebrate Phil Fulmer day as the day we lost to Wyoming...

I would gather 'Appreciation Day' comes around everytime he gets that 100 plus thousand dollar check per month, but that's just me.

I hope they aren't planning on making this an annual event. However, since we have already done this once, it appears to be looking that way. He must still be bitter and still pouting.

Hi Phil. Thank you for the 98 NC and 10 years without a SEC championship.

Now please get out of the way.

Could we borrow him for a halftime coronation at the Swamp? We'd also like to show him our appreciation for the last 20 years.

But seriously, I never had anything against Fulmer. I guess that was kind of the problem being part of a rival fanbase.

If only Fulmer and the very mention of his name would go quickly into the deep recesses of history, being remembered as only an occasional historical footnote.

Or maybe they can have fulmer appreciation day and play a Basketball Highlight on the new Jumbo Tron while he is talking. I will never forget last year, I forget what game it was we were losing at home and halftime we boo'd the whole team walking off the field and they played a basketball highlight on the jumbo....I laughed an thought damn has it really got this bad that we play other sports to try and get excited at a home game.

Seems like it was the Florida game. I don't know the section designators but we were under the nosebleed overhang where they have TVs installed and there were more basketball and lady vols references than football stuff. It was pretty funny. The UT fans next to us were cracking up about it too.

I attended every home game last season and I do not recall the team ever being "boo'd" walking off the field. There may have been pockets of losers doing it, but it was never a stadium event.

There have been "boo's" at Neyland regularly since at least Sanders last year as OC.
