Maybe the most athletic and talented linebacker have had since Al Wilson.

Just has the opportunity to take over a game.

He's made a lot of his plays based on athleticism alone, still very raw.

Future top 15 pick.

Franchise player written all over this guy.

I was a doubter in the beginning, but he's worked hard and made some great plays. I hope he continues to do well.

For those who hate on the guy, he may have been our best defense player against Florida and Georgia. The fact that he hasn't been as much of a factor lately means that opposing OCs have noticed his play and have schemed to eliminate his effectiveness.

Congrats to Jumper.

It is unfortunate that it requires some catastrophic event for some kids to get an opportunity. Once they take advantage of that opportunity, people get to see what they knew about themselves the whole time. I would argue that we have a few more on defense that would shine if just given an opportunity, regardless of how they were rated or overlooked in the recruiting process.

I am willing to admit that he surprised me by how much he improved this year. Hats off to Colton for busting his ass to get as much as possible out of his God-given talent.

This guy deserves the award for the beating he took from the fans early on. Ya know daddies money and all that stuff

It's good to see how high Jumper has elevated his game. It's not a huge leap to think he could win this award. Rising into the spotlight will definitely have more eyes on him and, from there, it's just a hop and a skip to landing a spot on an NFL roster.

Colton is the kinda of guy that a lot of "former" players will wind up working for some day...Just wish several of our more talented players had his attitude and intellect. And prob we wouldn't be having all this drama going on....What's really bothersome is how some poster really don't understand how much he helped HIS TEAM this year and where we prob would be without him...Congratulations CJ...Use that hate to push you on and someday you'll be lookimg down on the "talented" players...
