Amazing that two of the most vilified on here, stepped up when three of our most important players were hurt. Jones has a history of developing lower star recruits and turning them into great college players and some have even went on to play in the NFL.

Coaches putting in speed with McDowell, Bates (who knew?), and Bryant, really helped Jumper stay on assignment in my opinion.

This isn't an indictment on Jumper (and I've personally been extrememly ****ty and critical of Jumper much of it has been justifiable), this is a compliment to him for staying on task.

Adding the atheltism by putting in the other linebackers really allowed him to play to his strengths. Playing inside and being a run stopper

Just watched the replay; 2nd half only:). On the 3rd and less than one, Mosley hit him first at the knees, and Jumper hit him high to clean it up. That was a key stop; also on the Gator's last play of the game Mosley made an awesome play to break up the pass without committing pass interference.

Yeah I agree...and poor old Kenny Bynum was out there giving his all..I'm glad he stuck around but he really is just too slow for the SEC..but we have needed him over the last couple of years.

that pass breakup by Jumper in the endzone was text book coverage and he made one heckuva play

I've been tough on Jumper at times, but he has continued to develop. Overall he played very well. Glad to see Gavin Bryant, Bates et al got good playing time. Desperately needed for those guys to get game experience like this.

It just proves they can play. Now they have to do it consistently. That's the key!

I saw Tuttle disrupt plays twice and force Gator runners outside...that doesn't show up on stats but the fact that their longest run of the day was 12 yards proves the DTs did their jobs

I've been critical of Jumper (and I think deservedly so), but today it looked to me like he stopped thinking and started to just play. Maybe he finally settled in with his confidence. I certainly hope his level of play remains as good as it was today because we're gonna need him. Kudos to you, Mr Jumper, keep it up!

I'm not trying to dog any players when I say this, so here goes...

One reason we started playing better was when Martin was pulled for Buchanan. Am I correct in saying that?
