sounds like the opposite of Rob Meachem. He led his HS team to a state champ in OK.(crimedawg12 @ Jan 12 said:I was hesitant to bring this up, but I coached Jujuan when he was a kid. I am very proud of what he has done this year! Jujuan has had a tendency to play out of control sometimes and Coach Pearl has done a great job with him! He is perfect for the roll he is playing, but I don't think you have seen his best yet! He has the ability to take a game over, much like Lofton! What you might be surprised to know is that he could of been a D1 DB/WR. He gave up football his junior year to concentrate on BB!
That's awesome crimedawg, thanks for sharing. I never realized he played football but it does appear that he has the speed and athletic ability to play. That game is MUCH closer last night without Jujuan. He really was a difference maker. I was especially impressed when he missed the three from the corner and raced down to break up a layup at the other end.(crimedawg12 @ Jan 12 said:I was hesitant to bring this up, but I coached Jujuan when he was a kid. Jujuan had offers to go elsewhere, but he wanted to be a Vol. The scholarship was pretty much a given. He wasn't there too long until he got his scholarship.Thats about the same way UT is handling Beau Brown. From what I understand they are asking him to walk on. Big mistake! That kid can play!(Vol 4 Life @ Jan 12 said:Interesting stuff... especially regarding the football talent. He was taking a big risk, walking on in one sport when he could have had a full ride in another. Safe to say he's confident in his abilities, which was also evident through his interview with Kesling after the game. He's done a great job this year.
