It would have been nice if we knew before we hired his receiver coach. That guy leveraged a sweet promotion out of the deal and we didn't even get the player. Gundy'd on a whole new level.

His old coach got Kelsey Pope's old position with us. He's an assistant WR coach with JUCO ties and success developing players. We didn't get screwed here.

That'd be great if he's useful, you have to figure we went into it hoping his tie to Benson would pay dividends.

3rd team in 3 years. Not interested. Rather get a proven talent or someone that is committed to developing here. Don't want a player who hops around team to team. I'd be surprised if the staff actually takes him. They tend to be weary of guys who want playing time and lookimg for a ome year pay day.

Me too. I just want us to be dilligent in who we bring in. We've had higher rated talent originally recruited on this roster in Mike Matthews, Kaleb Webb, Nathan Leacock and they are all leaving. I'm not going to get all hyped up about us downgrading on paper.

Possibly, he certainly has more production than any single WR currently committed to the 2025 roster. The fact that the coaching staff is entertaining a visit with him tells me they also think he could do just that.

The fact that so many players are leaving is why it should excite you to get any talent in the WR room. If it doesn’t, oh well. Seems that the staff agree that he certainly could contribute, hence the talks of a visit
