Based on Auburn's success all we need is a qb who can run a 4.4 40, run the read option, and make an occasional decent pass; coupled with a good running back and we're home free...oh and lucky plays (v Georgia and v Alabama).
Back to the topic at hand, I'm almost lost on Lambert's choice of Auburn. I mean as a Tennessee fan the recruiting under Jones is impressive and as long as the committed recruits sign we will be on the up and up. Not to mention Lambert could've started right away at UT, but then again watching the Auburn v Mizzou game, Auburn's defense didn't look so hot. Regardless, I have faith that we'll be tremendously better on both sides of the ball in the coming years with or without Lambert. Football is cyclical and we've endured the down time.
