i dont have access to the game...is jp able to create his own shots?...i see he's 7/9, so it looks like he's taking some good high percentage shots

He's passed up a couple of longer shots, driven to the hoop and made some tough shots. I think most of his shots have been pretty close, like the oop backwards slam!

He's not better than T. Smith, that's just a stupid statemet, but he has impressed me so far. Remember atleast 4 or 5 of his shots are easy layups or dunks. Hopefully he has a decent jump shot.

He was - but T. Smith is our 2nd best player behind Lofton. T. Smith stepped up in the end and showed what he's about as well.

Smooth as silk! Unlike Ramar this kid can knock down the 20 footer. He's definitely a bigger NBA prospect than either of the Smiths.

i hope you are right Bassman. we need both of these kids in a bad bad way. the whole C Lofton just needs some time to get his rhythm thing, is wearing thin.

Nothing to be ashamed of about this win. It was huge - especially being out-manned by 3 more 'players'. Ranked team in their place...

But we should be worried about our rebounding and some shot selection.

If he can remain a team player and not a one-man show, Prince will help temendously. Remember, Bradshaw had to convince Pearl to sign him. He was very cocky at White Station High School and thought of himself as the best player in the nation. But, his dad was an assistant coach at Memphis under Larry Finch and very well liked....

You realize that around 10 of his points came from great assists and plays by other players.

I assume you think BW 16 points against Western Kentucky was all him....

Get a clue.

if he makes his play today the norm, he can be as cocky as he wants to be.

This team's biggest enemy is shot selection. Some of the guys are willing to jack up a 3 from 5 feet outside the arc with 30 sec left on the clock. Lofton isn't shooting that well, but teams are insistent on not giving him any open looks.

If we can start taking smart shots, we'll see a lot more points and we'll get to move away from relying on streaks.

Prince still needs to work on his defense, the whole team needs to work on rebounding, and the refs need to stop fishing for fouls...but a great win for Prince and the Vols.

He made a couple long shots, at least one three, I didn't get to watch all the 1st half, so could have been more.

Prince is da man!! Hope to get an even better avatar.
