The crazy thing is -- if the agent gave Arion a $500 NIL deal, the NCAA couldn't do anything. This is so stupid!

The rule resulting in a 2 game suspension is an old rule pre-NIL and out of date. It’s no different than many laws in certain states with 1850 intent. It’s was applicable back then, not applicable now, the state could enforce it but they have enough common sense to ignore it to prevent stirring up a hornets nest. The NCAA, they have no common sense and they have a stiffy for the Vols so they chose to stir the nest.
