I cant believe how bad he was yesterday. He played like a little tulip and should be ashamed of himself. He is supposed to be our best WR and leader. He STUNK and needs to look in the mirror this week. Shameful performance.

He was really bad. Did anyone else see him close his hands together before the ball got there on his last target lol. How is that even possible

He played soft and scared, absolutely ZERO effort to help Dobbs out and make plays on the ball. Byrd needs to start and let Josh warm the bench. Jennings, Byrd are gamers along with Kamara.

That was by far his worst game. I think he got frustrated because he felt there was a lot of PI not being called, which looked like it was, but you have to play through it.

Everybody has ups and downs. I don't think you need to insult our guys who've done a helluva lot more for the University of Tennessee than you or I.

He didn't have his best game but I suggest the OP tell that to Malone in person then we will talk about who's a little girl. I Wanted him to get more physical with TAMUs dbs too but they played a tough game against him and just got more physical.

I call it like I see it. He played scared and soft. We needed him to step up in the biggest game of the year thus far, and he STUNK.

Very physical safeties. Looked like he was playing fearful. He was awfully passive. I was disappointed because I thought he had put that behind him. Back to the drawing board.

Dam what is with all the player call out threads? A bunch of Grown ups sitting around calling out young men! Its embarrassing to say the least save it for the NFL. I wonder if other fan bases have fans like this?

We all agree he had a bad game but to insult him like that isn't necessary. Plus, girls aren't cowards (which you were likening Malone's performance to). They're just physically genetically weaker on average.

He had a poor game but had it not been for his play this year we may not have won some of those games. The big TD against Florida and the bomb in V Tech come to mind.

Was it Malone that caught the third down pass in the first ot? If so, even if not, why is that route not ran past the sticks, instead of a yard short? I'm pretty sure that was Malone, and that was inexcusable.

That being said, Malone has been clutch at times this year and has made strides in his game to be a leader in our receiving corps. Chalk it up to a bad game, everyone has them

What I would give to see the people who make threads like this suit up for even a practice let alone a game..then still talk smack(but doubt they would even be able to talk after).

Keep typing on that keyboard..it cant fight back, suits you..LMAO

Could not agree more. One thing to state the obvious, kid had a bad game, but to make this a player trashing thread seems petty and juvenile. Let's have some couth.

While on receivers though, Byrd was amazing! That kid runs with fire! Juan Jennings is a special player too. Love their heart.

Had we threatened the deep ball some, he would have had a better game. TAM could play tight coverage all night.

Big boy game. When the going gets tough the tough get going. I'am sure you have heard this. Seems like Josh needs to here it and take it to heart. He looks to me to play timid when it gets tough.

Malone had a bad day but he's been good all year and a good part of last year. I think he'll bounce back.

I'm more worried about our TE play, we don't really have a player there. Sure hope Brooks or Pope can step up next year and give us a legitimate threat at that position.

I don't trash players on this forum, but I'd bet you the coaching staff will tell him in person that to be successful in the SEC and beyond that he will have to play more physical and to catch the ball with his hands away from his body. I noticed in several of his drops he was trying to catch the ball against his body and the physical CB play was bouncing it out.

There is a distinct reason you are not a Division 1 football coach. Want to guess why?
