Josh Dobbs on His Way to the Super bowl!

Your opinion stinks and is factually wrong lol the collective bargaining agreement requires that all practice squad players with a team at the time of winning the superbowl also get a ring.
You do know opinions are just that, opinions. Nothing to do with facts. But since you know the facts. Can you produce the part where it says all practice squad Players get rings as well? TIA.

According to the NFL, they do, but the decision as to what kind of ring is left to the individual teams.

Article 51 of the CBA states, "Practice Squad players on a Club that wins the Super Bowl at the time of the Super Bowl will be entitled to a ring similar in appearance to the one provided to players on the Active/Inactive List but the Club, in its sole discretion, may provide any Practice Squad player with a ring of lesser value."

So basically they usually get at least a "3-table" ring while the active and inactive players, coaches, trainers, etc., get the "4-table" variety.

"4-table" refers to a ring you can see from four tables away.
Thank you for the information.

Question could Be asked for you, Why do you care about my opinion?
Because you stated it on a forum and the opinion is brainless, takes up board space, offers nothing and derailed momentarily the thread topic.

Plus you been here long enough to know better.

And yet you get to offer your opinion. Apologies. Yours is the only ones that matter. Now I know.

um not even close. D4H literally said Dobbs would not only be a starter but become one of the greatest QBs of all time. I love Dobbs but he has had less than 100 passing yards all year.
Wait till he takes over in the 2nd Q and leads them back to victory from a 28 pt deficit! And receive an honorary Heisman fulfilling all things prophesied by D4H the Great.

Google is free, you can do the same thing I did to find out.

Yeah. I bet you believe everything you see on the internet too. That was free as well.
Sorry you’re sad your comment was wrong. You can literally find ESPN articles stating it, easily accessible, unless that’s too difficult for you.

So im wrong voicing an opinion? Gotcha!! While you’re on the internet. Look up opinions. They can be different, heck even not liked by many. But can still be someone’s opinion. You know what! You even have one.

An opinion is a belief or attitude about something that isn't necessarily based on facts.

I looked it up for you, at no charge!!

Dawh look at you trying to move the goal posts. We were discussing your CLAIM the practice players didn’t get rings, now you’re back to talking about your opinion, stay on topic. Listen, you made your opinion known, stupid as it may be, you can do so, but others can also point out how stupid they think it is. Then you tried to back up said opinion by claiming that well the practice squad practices all year too, and they don’t get rings!!! Except, that is FACTUALLY, wrong, multiple people pointed it out as well. You’re upset your opinion got trashed for being awful and that your argument to back up the opinion is completely false and you got called on out both.

Don’t start pretending you didn’t get the reaction you desired. 😏
Looking for no reaction. Voiced my opinion
Plain and simple. And it’s ok to disagree. But to attack and try to belittle, I have a right to react. Because some kids or at least I hope
It’s not grown men acting that way. My life goes on with or without anyone’s take on how I feel On a message board.

Not “belittling”…recognizing your game. Respecting you enough not to buy that this was some core belief ripping you up on the inside that you had to type and submit…before feigning martyrdom and “freedom of speech”. It’s a nothing burger that ends with Dobbs getting a full SB ring if they win. He’s the top backup at the most critical position. Since we’re doing FACTS. 😉

Does the category really matter anyone puts anyone else in? They all can indicate the program would be better off without their contributions.

It is obvious that LOTS of supporters saw your triggering post as a purposeful cheap shot at Dobbs. They simply applied the glorious IMO card and utilized their freedoms to share their responses. Yet you feel it necessary to continually defend that act. That is telling.
As I stated no jab at Dobbs or any
Particular persons. Just stated my opinion and others did as well. Great that’s what a forum
Is for. So if persons like you get your panties twisted. That’s on you, not me.

And I responded with my opinion which I believe is equally protected. To further the greatness you alluded to.

I did so to offer an alternative view to all that read, with zero expectations of reforming any individuals thought processes.

IMO. If back up players make it to the Super Bowl. They should have to have played in a minimum number of snaps, games, etc. to get a ring. Similar to like college red shirting reversed.
Those backup players endured the same blood, sweat, & tears as the starters. The games are never won on game day. It’s all the work that was put in preparing for game day and the backups play a huge role in that.

Who knows, maybe Dobbs will fill in for Maye and remain the starter. Then Maye gets traded to the Cowboys and his career fizzles out. Vrabel starts wearing hoodies, dressing sloppy and films other team’s private workouts. Dobbs goes on to win multiple SBs fulfilling all of D4H’s predictions.

We all know Dobbs is a smart guy. For a player that has never been a full time starter he has played his cards well during his NFL career and getting closer to qualifying for an NFL pension, believe its 10 yrs. Then he can move into his aerospace career and cruise on out with a successful life. Have to give him credit.

Simmer down gents!! I know how this works and Dobbs is a great representative of the Vols. I know they practice all year.(so does the practice squad, yet they get nothing). Again my opinion. And we can all have different ones. That’s the great thing about this forum And this nation we live in.
Well most of the time. But once someone says something really asinine? The greatness fades quickly.

Apparently Drake “Drake Maye” Maye has an apparent shoulder injury. Vrabel said they’ll release the availability report when they have to. Stay tuned!

So you've never been part of a real team at a level above being able to tie your own shoes. Got it. At least you can shout out to mom to bring you a Hot Pocket and Mountain Dew

Jeez Louise, you people are getting worked up for no good reason. Josh is a VFL who has been good enough to make the team and not just the practice squad. I've never met the man, but I would be stoked to shake his hand. The average tenure of an NFL player is 3.3 years and Josh is what, 8 years and counting? If those teams thought that he was not worth it, they would have shipped him off years ago. We should all be so lucky.
