He willed us to victory. He wasn't playing that well early on, but it's like he just decided at some point in the 3rd that we weren't gonna lose this one no matter what and that the streak was going down once and for all. Hit big pass after big pass against a vaunted UF secondary, and the receivers eventually responded to his leadership by making the big catches they'd been dropping earlier. I bet this game will vault him into Vol lore, and IMO there's no one more deserving than him. Congrats Josh and the team, I couldn't be any more proud! What a great day to be a Vol!!!

I love you Dobbs.

Screw the idiots on here who think we would be better with someone else in at QB. Dobbs gives us a chance to win every game and always seems to play the best in the very biggest of games. Without him we are not 4-0 right now. Go Dobbs!

Has there been a more polarizing player behind center for Tennessee in the last 25 years?

He was absolutely great in the second half. One hell of a player

When he gets in the "mode", he is an absolute beast. Showed us tonight.

McElwain had some seriously high praise for him in his post game Q&A, when asked about Josh. CJM said "he was glad JD will be gone" after this season. LOL.

Yes he was, but Casey experienced a lot more success than Dobbs has as a starter. He is probably the closest example though. FWIW, Casey is one of my all-time favorite Vol QBs.[/QUOTE

Not sure anyone would disagree. No doubt Casey would be eaten alive in this offense. That is pretty apparent. That wasn't really the discussion nor why I brought him up though.

What Jim McElwain said after Florida’s second-half collapse against Tennessee

•On Tennessee QB Josh Dobbs in the second half: “He’s a great player. I mean, he’s fun to watch. He’s guy that’s ultra competitive. I think when you go back and look at the film, they had some drops on some of those over routes early in the game, right? And they connected on them in the second half. Give him the credit. He was not to be denied tonight, and I’m glad he’s gone.”

Way to go, Dobbs! As good of a player as he is, he is an even better person. He will go far in life.

He was a beast in the second half. Tough, tough, competitive kid. He is a pleasure to watch. I don't know if he will get a good chance in the Sunday league but he will be successful anyhow.
