In the spirit of the upset anniversary, ESPN had analyst Jordan Rodgers pick his most likely upset among those six big favorites. To his credit, Rodgers wasn’t too keen on picking any of them. But for the sake of the segment, he went with Furman over Tennessee.

“I don’t think any of them are too likely, but if there was one where I go, ‘well, I could maybe sell you that this one could get interesting,’ it’d be Furman at Tennessee,” Rodgers said on SportsCenter.

“There’s a lot of question marks for Tennessee,” Rodgers said. “Look, 46-and-a-half is a lot of points. I don’t know if it’ll happen, but if you want some intrigue and you want to say one-in-a-million, maybe that one.”

Obviously the whole segment is a joke. Classic "let's say something crazy to make people talk." It works. It worked. I actually like Jordan when he's calling a game. He has a good way of giving the information but keeping it light. At least for this segment he tried to give some sort of reasonable reasoning.
