I met Jordan Howell's parents at a restaurant in Gainesville last night. They are super people. They agreed that Jordan needed to quit thinking so much and just shoot the ball. They did add that CBP is very hard on the kids when they miss a shot. They said that Jordan doesn't respond well to criticism. We all know now that he had a teriffic game. Go Vols!!

I was impressed with his jumper inside the arc and his very important triple that kept us alive. He always plays great from the point and sets the team up when we get out of control. Go Vols!

use to play ball w/ him when i was in college. he's from huntsville, or well he lived there in college. he was a good guy, his brother on the other hand....no one liked him. tool bag

If Jordan is truly making a comeback with his shot, it does change the way teams will have to defend us. Also if Ramar will EVER START HITTING 3's, we'll be unstoppable.

we don't need Ramar to worry about hitting 3s right now. That's not his game.

Yep Ramar's game is to drive into the lane and to to the basket, not shoot threes. Leave that to Lofton and Jajuan (and dare I say it, Chisaam. On occasion. Not as often as he takes them.).

:question: That sounds odd considering their style of play and the fact that every commentator I have heard states the complete opposite when describing how even Wayne Chism has the 3 point green light. Maybe he is just very hard on the ones who can't put in the ocean from the deck of an aircraft carrier!

no, ramar's game is to drive the lane, put up a floater from 2 feet and still miss. his shot goes short 9 times out of 10. shoot it a little bit harder next time ramar!! you'd think after 400 misses you would learn....

Wayne has a very nice shot for a big man. He has the green light to shoot them because he makes them in practice, not because Bruce just wants people to shoot willy nilly.

Yeah. I said willy nilly.

point being ......I don't think he is hard on his shooters!

i missed most of the first half do to my sports psych class. i saw in the first half when jordan air balled one. glad he did well except for that.

Maybe the Howells are as overly sensitive as Jordan seems to be. If Pearls hard on shooters then its only the bad ones, because I've never seen him yell at a shooter unless he took a terrible shot.

Jordan's been throwing up bricks and airballs for a few months now. I think Pearl would have every right to be a little hard on him.

good coaches aren't hard on anyone for missing shot. CBP certainly isn't.

CBP, and every other coach for that matter, is hard on players for taking stupid shots.
