Did not know (per srticle below) that we were in a 2 hundred million hole when Butch took over. I knew that the Athletic Department had stopped giving money to the University but did not know it was two hundred million!

Further, it goes on to say that Hart was actually doing good and was good for the University. I do, however, recall he fired a member of the womens AD and that caused a lawsuit.

Also, it quotes Swain and Rucker and they seem to hit the line.

The article is dated and I'm sure some of you have read it already. for those of you who are like me and have not, you can get a better glimpse of not only what Butch walked into but the situation of the program from top to bottom!

Assuming they mean there's $200 million in debt on the balance sheet... that's different from a $200 million hole. They're ignoring the assets added after issuing the debt. The stadium improvements, arena improvements, football facility, softball stadium, soccer stadium, parking garages, and other CapEx improvements are paying for themselves.

Another reason my "mod" theory came to mind. It's being allowed. But, I honestly don't think it's a mod, it's just a fun theory.:)

You're saying there's at least a limbic system to his brain, that he's gone beyond the reptilian brain stem, and has proven it by showing the ability to learn how to link articles? Hehe.

If that means he isn't dumb enough to be a gator(no offense gators), then yes.

But he sucked at investing, setting priorities, structuring contracts, and making sound coaching hires. Even if you are good at making money come in, that doesn't mean you can't spend more than you have coming in.. What is so baffling about that?

Jones does need a little more time and we do need a little more patience. Can't argue that both are running out though.
