My friend swears up and down that he was a WR at sometime. Just wondering if this is true. Thanks:hi:

Jonathan Wade had 9 career receptions for 89 yards. He had 10 career carries for 68 yards. He also had 110 career tackles, 6 INT's (1 TD), and 19 PBU's.

Wade was second team All-SEC in football, and first team All-American in track.

I think wade had one solid game as wr in 02 against bama.
then moved to db in the summer.
I remember him being called Donte Stallworth a couple of times on the ESPN telecast. So his time on offense was best known as not being stallworth

Wade could have been a good WR. He only played as a freshman, then got hurt. Then we switched him to corner because we had a great need there. He could have been second team All-SEC as a WR, too. Not Stallworth, but he would have been good.

Wade didn't have the best hands on the world. I think that that is the reason he was moved to DB. I remember him getting open several times deep by simply outrunning the opposing DB, but he just couldn't reel in the ball. He even earned a starting spot in a game or 2 at WR.
