If you haven't heard, apparently Jonathan Martin (Miami OT) has been bullied by a few of his teammates pretty badly. He says he fears for his life and now he's left the team to deal with the emotional issues this bullying has presented for him. Richie Incognito, has been suspended indefinitely for his believed involvement.
Jonathan Martin's camp accuses Dolphins of 'player misconduct'
I don't know what really happened, but I love the image of him smashing his tray and storming out of the cafeteria. Sounds a lot like high school.

Richie Incognito is, and always has been, a POS. Hopefully this new information from Adam Schefter means he'll never be able to play another down in the NFL after all of this.

What kind of name is Richie Incognito?

Anyway, sounds like he's one fine upstanding human being.

I just read about the voicemail he left on Martin's phone in April. How can someone be so stupid?

This is what I don't get....is Incognito really this big bully who never grew up or is this an attempt at hazing a young guy? It's crazy to me that he could be so stupid. I can kind of see getting carried away hazing somebody you like, but this is just nuts. Especially for a 9-year veteran.

Got a link or just summarize?:hi:

“Hey, wassup, you half n—– piece of [expletive] . . . I saw you on Twitter, you been training ten weeks. [I want to] [expletive] in your [expletive] mouth. [I'm going to] slap your [expletive] mouth. [I'm going to] slap your real mother across the face (laughter). [Expletive] you, you’re still a rookie. I’ll kill you.”

Out of line. He's a POS.

Obviously we in the military have a little bit of this but not on that scale.

Richie has always been tough to cheer for as his on field antics were usually pretty embarrassing. His choice of words and off field antics with this situation makes it hard to imagine. It's interesting that several Dolphins players said they know both and like both players (Mike Wallace) and Will Davis said that Richie is a good guy.

It's a strange situation. Philbin not commenting due to the investigation is common sense. I am actually very disappointed with ESPN in their coverage of this. Stephen A. Smith speaks on the matter like he knows an NFL locker room while Eric Allen is trying to tell him how it really is. Cris Carter saying the coaches do not care about the players at all, the management does not care, etc (then mentioned Nick Saban as a coach that does, I suppose he forgot Saban in the NFL and perhaps he should remind himself). Tom Jackson and Keyshawn calling Richie a racist.

I took a journey to the NFL Network. Solomon Wilcox, a guy who actually has been to the Dolphin facility and spoke with the coaches in Miami, said that NOBODY cares more about their players than Philbin. I am not saying he cares the most. This statement came from a guy who has had contact with these people. Not just gotten notification through Adam Schefter's "nameless source.

My point is, let's wait until it is complete and there is a real conclusion. Not just some rumor BS.

What rumors are you talking about? Everyone here is commenting on the voicemail evidence.

That "evidence" is only per sources, nameless ones. Richie is claiming it's slander and that "the truth will come out". All I am saying is wait for the report. The investigation just started.

The Miami players saying "he's a good guy" is what makes me pause the most.

He apparently had a radio interview where he said he stole Tannehill's credit card to buy a jet ski.

I cannot believe the support Incognito is getting.

This is all fascinating.

Couldn't agree more. Dirty POS.

Actually after reading more on the dolphins mindset. I'm leaning more toward someone being coddled their entire life and not knowing how to stand up for them self. Or someone who was legitimately intimidated. But also someone who didn't want to be in Miami

His parents are both Harvard grads. I'm sure he was socially awkward most of his life.

This is why I am waiting for the investigation. All this crap that's come out is too easy to misinterpret and take out of context. Tom Jackson Keyshawn's reaction is very unacceptable since they have no idea what the locker room allows or the context behind any of this. If Richie is guilty of everything charged, then so be it. I'm remaining open.
