Estrella has a higher ceiling, he is evolving into a player that will be a NBA pick, he still has 2 years. If he grades first 2 rounds by next year, it will be his last & he will declare in 2027. He has a few things to clean up and take that next step, but nothing substantial.

IMO, SEC is not top heavy like last year, but they are the best conference from top to bottom and its not close. This IMO makes it tough through a long season but with Basketball be a tournament sport, there may not be a SEC team in the final 8 or 4 sans Florida. Matchups & lucky draws could change that prediction.

I'd love to see JP add some stretch qualities to his game next season, and if he has designs on an NBA career there is no better way to put scouts on notice. Rim protecting, rebounding 6'11" bigs that can stretch the floor are gold at the next level. The shooting touch is definitely there, it's just a matter of off season reps and Barnes making it part of the scheme.

Our other 3 post players have made no progress against the same “garbage teams” yet JP has continued to improve? I’m confused why anyone watching the games can’t see the growing contributions from JP and also how much more potential he has to improve. JG has been impactful from the start, Nate has hit his stride in the past month. If we’re going to do anything in March JP will be key IMO, but that impact will have to be from even better and more consistent play than we’ve seen. Fingers crossed that he will get there!

Yes, and we have not dominated any of them for 40 minutes this season. I was afraid we were about to let LSU back up off the mat last night. I don't see another E8 this year for us
