He has probably been the most disappointing player on defense, and one of the most overrated preseason players in the country, so far this year. His tackling is pathetic and looks slower than last year. Not to mention his abysmal punt return performance last night, 4 for -17 yards. What is wrong with him? Trying to do too much?

Its called the "Big Head". He read all the pre-season mags that he was an All-american. After the game he made an excuse that he has a bad foot and he needs some rest.

Then again, everyone on defense looks lost. That might've been the ugliest (for the winning team) 21 point victory I've ever seen.

What about Coker bringing a kickoff out from 5 yards deep with the other team kicking from the 45. I mean come on. I think its all in the coaching. I think its all of our special teams. We will be very lucky if we don't let GA get two td's off special teams alone.

Coker wants to make a big play evertime he touches the ball...not saying thats bad but sometimes that leads to bad decisions.

His method of running backwards on every return wasn't exactly helping matters. I can understand making things happen but geez
Hefney and Rogers must have had a get going to see who could have the worst night. I'm not sure who won.

who is responsible for special teams now? Don't we still have a couple of coaches who are partly responsible for it?

Obviously no one. Considering we give up at least 1 td a game. I don't think I can remember in the past couple years where we actually hit a guy within 10 yards of him catching the punt.

I think I have it figured out though. That is Fulmers way of keeping the defense off the field. Heck lets just punt it and get it returned for a td then we can send the offense back out.

I would have to say Hefney myself BUT Rogers look just about bad as him. PF has gave this kid a chance why doesnt he give someone else a chance like Ahmad Paige? I did see a few new guys out there last night maybe thats a start.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing. You look at a ticker and it says we smoked them. But it was just a matter of outscoring them. The look and feel of this team is all wrong.

They don't have a special teams coach. They split this responsibility among several coaches. Sorry Fulmer but that's another valid point for the people looking to replace you.

I too am disappointed with Hefney's play.He is suppose to be a leader and lead by example. After the SMU game I thought Rogers would be Ainges go to guy but he has got to hold on to the ball!

he looks as he is making up for the other younger players efforts where he is not staying disciplined with his own assignments.
