I recently heard a clip on a radio show of Johnny Majors talking and he was just continuously bashing on Fulmer, SORRY MAJORS!!!! You were out for five games and Fulmer went 5-0, YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE BIG BOY!!! He was also just ranting on about Alabama is the best thing in years, Johnny Majors dissapoints me majorly, he needs to get on somewhere or have an attitude adjustment.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with Fulmer calling boosters trying to get Major's fired while he was in the hospital

he had issues with his heart. he was out for a month or so for surgery and such, and fulmer was named interim head coach. fulmer did great in his abcense, beating both georgia and florida on the road to a 4-0 start. as a result, ut fans started wanting majors out and fulmer in. in all fairness, majors was screwed.

If it was the fans call then....why can't it be the fans call now? Get a new coach!

Majors came back way to early. In my opinion he was a victim of circumstance with Fulmer's success in his absence, but I don't feel like his coaching style would have gotten us to a NC level. Plus Johnny was famously not "best friends" with UT's administration and boosters, unlike other coaches.

Yeah, selective memory now that Fulmer is about done. Majors came back from heart condition and attacked a player in practice drunk...He had began drinking on the job UT had no choice. Majors gave them no choice. And we got Phil from that, of course we got Cut as well. It was not a bad deal at the time. Now we need to make another change.

I guess that knife scar on Major's back has been hurting a bit lately...Bringing back bad memories.

In less than a month, we'll be seeing the FIFTH presidential election since Majors' ouster.

For being such a big guy, he sure is a small man.
