WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) -- The father of former Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker was killed in a traffic accident Tuesday.

The truck driver, Angelo Raffield Jr., was not hurt and no citations were issued, Wagner said.

This happened not too far from where I live. The theory is that he was blinded by the glare of the sun and turned into the path of a dump truck coming at full speed in the opposite direction.
