So I have watched the first two episodes, and I must say, it certainly has captured my interest. I can't quite figure out what exactly the show is about yet, but the complexity of the characters certainly looks to make for a decent series. Anybody else watch it yet?

Oh yeah, and Ed O'Neill is in it too.

Thought they have only aired one episode. There are two out there?

Show looks intriguing right now. You have to watch the whole show to get it Jake. All there characters are intertwined.

Haven't made decision on the show yet. It has potential. We'll see.

Right now, I am with Jake. It is just not compelling enough to hold my attention.

I know Lex. Just being sarcastic. Wife is out of town so I got nothing to do but watch TV on some nights. That's why I sat through it.

I thought there was only one episode so far.

I liked it alright - I watched it a second time and the beginning made much more sense the second time.

DeMornay still looks pretty good...

don't have time for all that......it's like reading a book, if it doesn't get me in chapter one, i just put it down......

There are two episodes on HBO on demand right now.

I agree.

I liked it enough the first time around to continue to watch. When it came on again, I watched the first 15 minutes and it was more cohesive.

i watched john from cinci last nite, and have no earthly idea who this guy is, and who the weirdo that won the lottery is other than him and the surfer went to school together. weird show. "I got my eye on you" - bill

I watched the first two episodes today. I have no idea what is going on or if I even like the show, but I will definately watch the next few episodes.

I'm going to give *** it's chance. HBO has never put out a series that I've hated. I'd say this one will take 3 or 4 shows minimum before the plot starts making sense.

My mini-review:

Overall, I like the show enough to keep watching.

Highlights:

Shawn (love his character - the way he says "anyway") and Ed O'Neil's character.

Good scenery and I love to watch surfing.

Interesting enough story.

Lowlights:

The Mega-millions character is too extreme - seems forced.

The interaction between Mitch and Butchy and Mitch and his wife is too volatile - again, seems overdone.

Loved the last scene where Ed O'Neil looks like he's having heart problems but he's really hiding that parrot (parakeet).

Thought second show was interesting like everyone else. Has me hooked just enough to see what directin they are headed in and what's up with John.
