The real question is, who is the middle school QB coach? Now that really could be an upgrade.

Teaching guys how to play the line position is a long way from being "out of touch" with the game. You play the position as to technique the same to day as you did years ago..

I'm ok with Chavis as dl coach, but that is not our main problem. I don't care how good of a dl coach you have its not going to help the offense. And the number one problem on offense is the qb. That is what needs to be taken care of and like right now. Our dl played good enough to win Sat. as well as the whole defensive team, ky scored actually 17 offensive points. The rest were the result of offensive turnovers. Hold a team to 17 points you should easily win the game.

I don't see them reading the D Line coach this year.. Too much money is being thrown around at Tennessee.. The 2 yr contract extension got me, then they want you to donate the season ticket cost to the athletic dept.... Brumbaugh was the scapegoat...

Could the Chief John Chavis be possibly be brought back? I would think this is a logical choice. Phil Fulmer could push for this to happen. Right now, Chavis is coaching middle school, and their season just ended, so he is available!
