Ummm...NO

SO you are saying schools dont let defensive coordinators influence their hire..I think thats 98% of the reason UT hired Lane

If LSU wants to keep Chavis and he says he will stay if Fulmer is hired and Fulmer wants to come ...bank on Fulmer being the coach

Seriously lets think about this. When was the last time you heard of a coordinator picking his head coach? Head coaches pick their coordinators not the other way around.

This would be too good to be true for the rest of the SEC. The west would be throwing up their hands and rejoicing. I don't see it happening.

To put it another way, if they get rid of Miles, then they'd probably consider themselves lucky to be rid of an idiot. I don't think they'd go out looking for another. You don't usually go out of the frying pan and into the fryer willingly.

I hope it happens! Next season when we play LSU! Major headline on ESPN...Fulmer returns to Neyland. Bigger than when Farve returned to Greenbay

Yep. That's why we kept Fulmer. Chavis wanted him to stay.

Would be hilarious, but not happening.

Wouldn't be hilarious if he put together a good squad and lit our a$$es up 3 or 4 times in a row...Now wouldn't that be hilarious? :ermm: Some of you goobers act like he can't coach or anything...Last I checked he only lost 50 games in his career.

Last I checked, no one in college football is interested in Fulmer becoming their coach. Must be some reason for this?

Who isn't?...Last time I checked he didn't interview for any jobs...Maybe some interest but nothing more...A lot of it has to do with his age...He can afford to be picky if he so chooses...But of course you know differently right? :birgits_giggle:
