I think a lot of people who are mad at sports journalist are simply looking for a cheerleader. In all seriousness, I hate the guy, and I don't remember why. I just got the impression that he hated UT during one of his radio segments and/or columns.

The biggest issue is he's a professional. I know several people who are writers and sports reporters/anchors in other states who graduated from UT. Think they're "fans" of who they cover? No. Just because he covers the Vols doesn't mean he's required to be a fan. I know that pisses off a lot of you, but get over it.

He's been spot on so far this game. And spot on for most of the season. Sorry you consider it a "half truth" when someone doesn't kiss UTs ass. Maybe you should attempt to write.

So glad you started this thread. I was on their site a minute ago, and saw his new article about how we are going to help Shaw get out of his slump. This after he says S.C. is a better job. This is unprofessional imo to just trash on team you cover or any team for that matter. Of all the peolple that have left that show, somehow he has not been one of them.:ermm::banghead2: And they still have not updated his picture from when he first got hired.

Hmmmm....seems Adams was right. Shaw had a very good day today.
