Anyone watching this? I just happen to come across it last nite. It was the Independence episode. Pretty interesting

I watched the first 2 parts Sunday night, i'll probably try to check them out again tomorrow while i'm off, as they have to be playing during the daytime on one of the who knows how many HBO's.

It's very well done, and a good luck into 18th century life.

they tarred and featherd a guy last nite. didn't care seeing his manhood at all

Agreed, that was a little unnessacary. You'd assume that after being stripped and tarred, that the tar would probably end up on his pecker, without showing it. I'm not really seeing why they felt compelled to include that small segment, maybe because it's HBO and they can.

Perhaps it was to teach today's kids that they had genetalia back in the 1700's too.

i saw the first two - very good so far. It's a bit disconcerting that many scenes don't finish - for example the knuckle down for a debate then they jump to a conversation afterwards congratulating someone on some outcome. There are abrupt time shifts without much warning. It makes sense the second time around but when watching the first time it was a bit confusing.

I'm wasting time until the 3rd episode comes on tonight, I've watched 1 and 2 a few times now, it's a very well done miniseries.

My sister told me about this series, her husband watched the first two episodes on HBO on demand to catch up. My son and I watched last nights episode.

I've really enjoyed this series so far. The things these men did is almost beyond comprehension. (wish we had a couple hanging around now)

:good!: What i'd give for statesmen who acted on principle rather than public opinion. The plethora of career politicians is really kicking our government in the sack.
