I have fallen off of the Butch wagon but that is one of the most childish articles I have ever read. However, coming from Adams, that's to be expected.

I actually thought it was pretty creative and funny. Doubt Butch finds humor in it but that is definitely Butch Speak.

Articles like these will only help in running thin skinned Jones out of here. We don't appreciate your "greatness" Butch, please leave.

It may have been childish, but going 3-4 (with two inexplicable losses) after a 5-0 start will lead to articles like this.

I thought the mock press conference was spot on. One Butch cliche after another but my favorite has to be "resolve and resiliency". :eek:lol:

I think UT should ban anyone that runs with Basilio, Swain and his puppy dog, Adams, Rucker, the other clown Clay Travis... Give these guys absolutely zero information so they don't start crapt which I have seen them do many times.

I don't know what's wrong with John Adams. He's actually been kinda funny lately.

I enjoyed the article, especially this part:

"Media: Will there be disappointment when you see Florida line up to play Alabama for the SEC championship this Saturday?

Jones: Disappointed? We have gone 1-0 eight times this season. How many teams in the history of the world can say that?"

Agreed. Left his players to face the press and answer the hard questions. Joshua Dobbs and Derek Barnett are better men, more stand up guys than their "head coach".

We should just have a University run media that pumps out Vols propaganda all day. Kind of like North Korea. No need for dissenting opinions and occasional humor.

I'm old enough to remember when Tom Siler was the newspaper mouthpiece for the Vols. I considered him second rate. John Adams makes him look like a cross between Walter Lippman and Grantland Rice.
