John Adams criticizing Fulmer again...

John Adams has a forum (specifically the News-Sentinel) to express his OPINIONS, and that is just what they are.........his opinions. Even though I am tired of this football merry-go-round we are on and ready for a change, I think his judgment and condemnation on Fulmer over the years has been pretty persistent. If you are not the head man, then you really don't know for sure what is going on and how you would handle things in the program (ie. dispcipline, negative publicity). He uses this public forum to blast others with his opinions when he really is not in the other person's shoes.........let him walk a mile in Fulmer's shoes and see what he would do.

It is his job. He is a newspaper critic. If he were to walk in Fulmer's shoes then his job would be a head coach.

While you use this public forum to blast John Adams with your opinions when you really are not in his shoes.....walk a mile in Adams shoes and see what you would write. :)

"Based on Stephens' performance in his first start, UT might have been playing the wrong quarterback all season. And that makes you wonder about the rest of their depth chart as well."

Could we start with the obvious ones on offense first?
Hardesty and Creer over Foster
Denarius Moore over Lucas Taylor and Austin Rogers
Brandon Warren over Luke Stocker

It's hard to tell about the linemen, but I'd love to see how someone else could do between a couple of blocking dummies. These guys can't give us a yard for a first down against NIU.

I wouldn't say any of those changes are really obvious. Creer has a lot of speed and played well at the end of the Auburn game, but I can't say he's obviously ahead of a guy that's produced like Foster. Hardesty wasn't very impressive last night, either. Denarius Moore had a big catch last night, but his last memorable play was a crucial drop in the SEC Championship. Lucas Taylor led all wide receivers last year and has been on top most of this year. Brandon Warren has done nothing but catch a big pass against a completely awful defense. Luke Stocker has played well in every game except one.

I'd say you're qualified to work for CPF.

I'd say you're qualified to work for Rivals. A lot of the same people screaming about more Brandon Warren and such were screaming about more Jon Crompton and Kenny O'Neal last season.

None of this has to do with John Adams specifically; the same thing is true of every newspaper sports columnist in the country. You're either a sycophant or a jackass.

Who isn't criticizing Fulmer. I heard his wife has him sleeping on the couch until they beat someone good.

Adams wrote, "UT's offensive failure isn't just about talent. It's about coach Phillip Fulmer and his staff's ability to judge talent."

This fact alone should be reason enough to fire Fulmer.
