He was the perfect guy to fill that role this year. Although the W-L didn’t live up to what we expect, Joey wanted to be here.. he played well.. and he’s genuinely good dude. Glad to have had him in orange
Yeah, he was about as good as we could hope for considering our situation. Really just helped us tread water. While good, he wasn't a difference maker in big games.

And the kicker, and pick sixes, and clock management, and an interior OL, or an OL that can pass block.
Yeah but we scored 40 on Georgia so the kick shouldn’t have mattered with a defense with a pulse. The Illinois game everyone knew we lost when we returned the kick because we knew our defense couldn’t stop them. Just a bad defense..

Pay attention kids, this is how you become a VFL in less than a year!! Players hitting the portal to leave and this guy is suing to stay. That’s what I’m taking about Volnation!

So if someone reiterates what all of our insiders have said about JA coming back that makes them a smart azz?

What do you know about this? Who do you think you are? Don’t you only deal with little kids only? This is a grown up man! Ha…..I kid, I kid. Totally a blue font moment!
Ha, my first clue was when the report said it would take him 8 weeks to recover.

I underwent a similar procedure about 10 years ago. As long as the biceps tendon is OK and doesn't have to be cut and re-anchored, the recovery isn't bad.

Look up Vol For Life and find Joey's picture.

There seemed to be a lot of onions being cut somewhere in the house as I watched this:

JA is as tough as they come. Sorry Peyton but Joey is now my favorite Vol of all time. If you had a team full of Joey’s you would be undefeated every season. That dude is going to be very successful in life. Good luck young man!💪

Joey A is also quite bright for having the surgery planned and hopefully for him covered under the UT insurance he currently enjoys.

Given his status is in flux, he may be looking for a job and real insurance very soon and waiting 90 days before benefits kick in for some employees.

Tough dude. Handles everything the right way. He gave his all for this place and I hope all of our fans see that.

I would just like to point out, this is why you don't start freshman QBs in the SEC. Joey may not be a perfect QB, but there's so much benefit to experience and age and handling yourself well.

this is why it's so beneficial to grab a guy from the portal until your younger QBs are at least Juniors
