Joey’s Legacy

I mean Peyton manning threw picks too. Like eleven or twelve is junior year and twelve I think his senior. But had his yards 3200 and 3800 ish for junior and senior year. Had 36 tds throwing in senior year I believe according to a google search I just did. Not sure if sec championship or bowl game counted back then but the bowl game did him no justice.

Peyton had that 500 yard game in 1997. I think vs Kentucky. But Joey has 2900 yards if he can have two more three hundred yard games he can end the season at 3500.

Beat Florida in the Swamp and cement your legacy Joey.

Joey will always be a fan favorite win or lose next weekend, but this game could define his legacy as Vol.
These next two mean a lot for Joey and the staff. Lose these and everyone remembers the wheels falling off starting with Oklahoma.

Win these and that means a win in Gainesville and ruining Vandys season with a chance for 10 wins. The three losses are much easier to stomach if we do the latter.

The kid has been a class act and exceeded expectations.

I don'y know how winning or losing in the swamp will affect his legacy but I do know you can't lose to Vanderbilt at home. This goes for the coaches as well. UT probably spends double what Vanderbilt spends on football, it's a must win game. Whatever happens next week they need to buck up and spank Vandy.

You don’t think beating Florida in the Swamp would affect his legacy? How would it not? 🤔

The amount of emphasis UT spends on beating UF vs the amount of emphasis UF spends on beating UT is laughable!

Beating UF shouldn’t be as big of a deal as UT places on it.

We haven’t won there in over 20 years. I couldn’t even buy booze at the time. Seems pretty important to me that we win there……

That’s my point. It’s very important to UT fans. UF fans couldn’t care less, for the most part.

I’ll be there, though. Fighting the good fight!

They care more than you think. No one likes a beating at home, regardless of the record or coach.

And although with our performance 08-20 it’s hard to call anyone a true rival, Florida is the closest thing to it in my opinion, especially for my age group.

What is your point exactly? That we should only care a lot if UF fans do? Basically you think we should let UF fans dictate how we feel? 🤣

WGAF what Gator fans think and if we care more because we haven’t won down there in almost a quarter century.
