I'd guess they told him he was going to be suspended for first 2 games and he threw a fit and decided he was better off doing his own thing. Just the way it has been worded with Dooley.

This would be about his 13th strike.

So?

I'm of the opinion that if a player gets caught doing this from a drug test, but it hasn't impacted performance, or how he practices, etc...then run him until he pukes or suspend for one game and move on.

As long as it doesn't affect him on the field and he keeps it private (outside of a drug test) there are far worse things an athlete could be doing.

Which DR has already done multiple times. Zero tolerance means zero tolerance. DR had to walk the line.

I guess I have an issue with zero tolerance when it comes to weed. Half tolerance is reasonable in my opionion, especially if the guy keeps it private.

Zero tolerance applies to anything. DR could not slip up, whether it was grades, weed, or not paying for an overdue library book.
