Anybody wanna volunteer to do the weekly new member welcome threads? Sometimes I forget to do it. :lame: I know, but if anybody wants the job, first bidder wins.

Here's how I have been doing it, but you may come up with something faster and easier.

I go here

and at the bottom I change the settings to

All Members by Join Date in Descending Order with 50 results by page

then I click "Go" and the list of members comes up with the most recent listed first.

THEN, I copy and paste the current week's names into a Microsoft Word document, but the whole page is copied. Since all I want is the member names, I highlight just the first column of names, right click and copy and finally paste that into a VN new topic box.


I know this is probably confusing and I am sorry. You might come up with an easier way.

Or you could have Frek add your email address to the "New Member" notify option then you'll get a email every time someone joins. That's if freak let you do it, doubt it but that's the easiest.

But getting informed every day means you have to keep up with it for a week. I just didn't want to do that.
