I read from a Pruitt interview that he was going to be away from the team for a couple of weeks.

It doesn’t matter how good an athlete you are you have to the drive to succeed. Currently, he does not have that drive. For his sake I hope he gets it back even if it is not at UT.

I read from a Pruitt uniform that he was going to be away from the team for a couple of weeks.

Its sorta confusingly written..saying he hasn't been with us for a couple of weeks...not sure if he asked for time away or if he just left two weeks ago...Pruitt did say he wasn't part of the LB rotation so that speaks volumes about his future imo

Contrary to popular belief among kids and some fans, usually talented guys are not terrible students. Now, they may not be straight A students but a guy planning on playing D1 athletics learns how to carry himself and eliminate anything in the way to success.

Might be testing the waters but honestly unless he is looking at stepping down a level I don't see much interest...from the article he was on the travel roster to USCe but didnt make the actual trip

Shouldn't let that education go. It's a free year so the fellow needs to think it through. Really had some bad luck due to shoulder injury and as soon as he returned to practice D.Kirkland popped him hard and re-injured it. He just needs to be patient but Banks and Crouch passing him by may not be sitting well with him.

He's no superstar at this point for sure, but he did appear in every game last year and as a RS sophomore has 3 years of eligibility remaining after this year since the current year doesn't count toward eligibility.
