Jimmy Johnson???

Jimmy Johnson is the best coach in football, period. I'd prefer that anyone making comments along the lines of not wanting Jimmy to disassociate themselves from UT sports.

I've had him in the back of my mind for a long time now - he's the best available, period. And wondered why no one brought him up instead of the rift raft being tossed around like Pellini and Gruden.

I'd take Jimmy all day long, over everyone else, but hiring him is so far from the realm of reality that it isn't really worth debating. Gruden and Spurrier, somewhat more realistic, but not altogether so.

Think young my son and use the force. Jimmy has been a TV talent (I use the word lightly) too long. There is no wind in the studio to mess up his hair.

I like coaches that carry legal sized laminated sheets of paper with plays crammed on it like a cheat sheet. Then they use it to cover their mouth when talking into their headset. That looks cool.

Jimmy is not about to move to K-town. He's having too much fun right where he is...

Guys, I live in the Dallas area and one of the local mediots who is friends with Jimmy called him when Parcells retired about a possible return to Dallas (or coaching anywhere). Per that conversation, Jimmy is done with coaching. As the picture suggests, he is having too much fun, has an easy job that pays well and will not be back anywhere as coach...

well atleast now people don't think I am crazy, and agree that JJ would be a great coach.

Johnson himself will tell you it certainly did. As will Jackie Sherrill, Jon Gruden, Dom Capers, and about 100 other guys.

Any chance that if Nutt is fired (assuming Jimmy Johnson even considers coming back to coaching) that he would choose Arky over Tenn?

Johnson probably not fit in well with some of the other SEC Coachs. See Johnson won a NC and was a success in the Pros. Where as say.... Spurrier & Saban have a NC and SUCKED coaching in the Pros.
