This post shows the idiocy of some of those on VN. What is Hyams supposed to do, spread untrue rumors or something? I don't like Hyams either, but to ask him to engage in untrue speculation shows the intelligence of some who want Dooley fired so much they want to lose games and start rumors.

Some of you have a man crush on Gruden's weird facial expressions, because his record isn't that stellar. Just ask Tampa Bay Bucs fans. In 3 years the same people will be screaming for his head. Grow up people.

You have to dislike the sports animal. NONE of the radio personalities compare to say, 104.5 in Nashville or JOX in birmingham. I actually look forward to driving through those places so I can listen to some good sports talk.

I will say that Harrington is the only one I could see breaking a story. The rest dont give two ****s about breaking something but HH, despite her dumbassery at times, actually would go out on a limb and find something out. So HH, go get someone drunk and get us some Gruden info. Youll win the VN Pulitzer.

What's so bad about not "breaking" a story that is centered around baseless speculation? Hyams calls it like he sees it and leaves the speculation to the vol forums. I've never heard 104.5, so I'm gonna go ahead and listen in. But, I'll still stand by hyams in the fact that he remains objective and doesn't spread unproven rumors.

Not really because I think if he is retained fan apathy will reach an all time high. Donations will go in the tank, recruiting will backslide, and next year the stadium will be about 50% full on a good day. And in the end, the program will even be in worse shape and Dooley will still get a multi million dollar buy-out.

Hearing Hyams speak is like nails on a chalkboard to me.... He's been butt hurt since Dooley arrived and has been consistently negative....

I see him as being professional in his reporting. Being emotional won't always get you what you want in life.
