Jimmy Hyams States "Fulmer Wont Be Back"

I live out of state, but listen to Hyams maybe once a week via internet.

Is it just me, or does his attitude seem 180 degrees from the last few weeks? Even he seems tired of Fulmer's excuses.

If Hyams has crossed over, then I'd say the shoe's about to drop.

Maybe he's said some things I haven't heard but I've never thought of Hyams as a homer. There are some whose perceptions have become so jaded that anything less than calling for Fulmer's public execution is some sort of de facto homerism.

Hyams stated on the Sports Source back before the GA game he thought Fulmer's odds of coming back were no better than 50/50. Homers don't make that call with 7 games still left on the schedule.

As for the "won't speculate" responses it's so uniform it leads me to believe it's a directive. I won't hold somebody responsible for what they're told from above by an employer. Besides, it's not like they're tricking anybody or being dishonest. I mean, are you saying you have a right to demand speculation from someobdy?

That's fine if you don't think Hyams is a homer, I do.

I listen to the show, he's been nice when I've met him and I have nothing against him.

No.

Yes, and that's what I meant with my first post in this thread.

Good point. I think the % of Fulmer supporters is dwindling down to nothing.

Wasn't trying to make it sound like you were out to bash Hyams or anything and stated up front that there may have been things said by him that I haven't heard that would lead one to believe he had a homerish streak. I did however point out that I have heard more than a little of his talk and have heard him be quite critical (and gave an example) which would certainly seem to contradict the homer claim. There are many (not necessarily you) that have come to the conclusion that any pundit or broadcaster that has not publicly eviscerated Fulmer is, by that standard alone, justified to denounce that person as a "homer". I don't find that to be an intellectually convincing criteria.

The biggest thing though is why does anybody care? Local media, Hyams or otherwise, is going to have precious little (if any) to do with Fulmer staying or leaving.

Hamilton has said very little to make me believe he will actually get rid of fulmer. when I read articles on anything he says it sounds just like a politician. There is an old joke that says how can you tell a politician is lying? Their lips are moving.

I want to believe it but for me seeing is believing. Untill I see an actual change or hear from fulmer himself he is stepping down. I wont believe it.
