These three guys give out a lot of info on UT sports. Which guy do you believe has the best information? I ask because they all do interviews here in Nashville and I'm not sure which guy is most credible.

Chris Low is the most reliable.

Hubbs, but sometimes he seems to be a little late with the info.

Lowe is the closest thing to a journalist on that list.

I think Lowe broke the news on Fulmer being let go
He also broke the Chris Lofton cancer story and I think was one of the leaders in breaking the Negadu story, while Jimmy Hyams was saying for a week that he didn't know of us actively recruiting him.

Negedu was broken by a CBS Sportsline reporter none of the above had anything to do with that.

My vote goes to Chris Low. He is the one who has the best sources. If you ask him not to say anything, he won't and he always give the opportunity to correct or counter anything he writes. That's why people give up the info cause he's persistent, but he's fair and does it all with integrity.

You may be correct about that. It was either the Negadu or Maze story that was floating around this past spring where Low was reporting (not breaking the story necessarily) on it for about a week or so on local radio before Negadu or Maze signed. Meanwhile, Jimmy Hyams during that sametime was saying he didn't have any information about the players recruitment and didn't know where the story was coming from. I can't remember specifically which player it was, but I do remember the confusion that was floating around. I had thought that Marc Maggard had actually broken the Romar/Maze story.

Hyams was also completely lost during the Gerald Williams fiasco this summer.

Maggard broke the Maze story.

I don't think we need to get in to name-calling! Ha - couldn't resist! I'd say Low, then Hubbs (but agree he's better w/ recruiting stuff), Hyams is a DISTANT third (not really in the same conversation in my book).

Low is the best.

Hyams reads the Sports section on Sports Animal at 3pm. I used to like Hyams, but since I started listening to more of his show since moving back to Tennessee I think the guy is a clown.

I listen to Hyams on Mon and Friday mornings on 104.5 the zone and even when we are doing good (not this year) he is still downing everything about the team.
