Has anyone seen film of Jimmie Clausen? Does he really look that good or is he a overated prospect for ND?

I've seen some film on Clausen, and unlike his brothers, he's very athletic. Dude is pretty tough.

Id rather have Tebow

Trust me, after Clausen's freshman year at Notre Dame, you won't think that. Unfortunately, Clausen is the real deal. I do not like Notre Dame at all, but they've got something special with this kid.

Same thing OSU said about Justin Zwick.

I think he will have a career similar to Casey Clausen, a modestly successful college QB with no NFL career.

CC was I believe the #5 QB prospect in the nation out of high school. I don't believe he ever made all-SEC at UT and went undrafted in the NFL.

Garcia is like Romo and Grossman in the fact I think they all hit very hot streaks but it comes crashing down sooner or later, where Brady and Manning types just play well all the time.

Same thing OSU said about Justin Zwick.

Justin Zwick was good enough that it took the guy that might win the Heisman Trophy in the biggest landslide ever over a year to pass him on the depth chart. If Zwick wanted to transfer to UT, I'd take him.

Very true.

He's a high school prospect, they're all overrated at this point. How is Notre Dame's QB situation looking next year with Quinn gone? Is JC gonna get thrown into the fire from day one?

Is Zwick still gonna be there next year? I'd been wondering who Tressel had behind Smith. Didn't know if Zwick was still there or not.

call me crazy but I didn't see anything ground breaking there. Alot of throws to wide open receivers and screen passes.

I watched clausen when he was on ESPN. looked good. really good. He's mobile to a degree, but i don't think you have to worry about him doing any qb sneaks. I also think he's nowhere near 6'3, unless his teammates are 6'5 or 6'6

watchin him on ESPN, i thought he was pretty darn good. but his whole team is pretty much D-1 too and don't really have that much competition. so i guess we'll just see in a couple of years.

I would much rather have Ainge. Have you watched Zwick??? Zwick played well against the bad teams in the tuneups, but lost his job as soon as they started conference play and OSU suffered a three game losing streak to begin. Jim Bob Cooter would have gotten a shot if he was at OSU and Smith wasn't. Ok, maybe not really, but as for Zwick, I would take Crompton over him.

Zwick and Smith are both 5th year seniors.
