quit whining about Lane Kiffin. Says that by continually talking about him, naming sewer plants after him, trying to dig up dirt on him, we are only immortalizing him. I couldn't agree more. I thought Rome hit in right on...

Yeah, no one should ever look into allegations against bad people because it might "immortalize" them. I think instead of "immortalize," the correct wording should be "ruin his career," and I am quite alright with that.

Tarnishing someone's reputation is quite different than immortalizing them... Jim Rome is a moron.

And isn't it TMZ that is digging the stuff up about Kiffin's, shall we say, forays when he was here? Kiffin's a big ticket item. He's good for headlines so of course people are going to try to dig up what they can... and that doesn't reflect UT/Knoxville/UT fans.

Naming a sewage plant is petty and sophomoric. UT is better, or should be, than that.
