Bryant has actually played more snaps than JG and Jarrett averages more yards per completion than Bryant does 13.7 vs 13.1I wouldn't think that almost 450 fewer yards and 1 fewer touchdowns in more games is identical. Easy to accumulate yards dinking and dunking like JG does but he scores no points. UK had a ton of yards yesterday but an L for their effort.
You hit it on the head broBryant has actually played more snaps than JG and Jarrett averages more yards per completion than Bryant does 13.7 vs 13.1
So because a TEAM loses a game to another TEAM it means your QB sucks? Against GA State JG threw for over 300 yards, 2 touchdowns, completed over 60 percent of his passes, average completion was well over 10 yards we scored 30. That's what a really freaking happened. The defense gave up 38 that's why we lost period. You don't make a good case for JG by saying he's as good as Bryant. Mizzou's loss to Wyoming might be worse than UT's loss to GSU.
No. It means that it doesn't support the idea that either QB is "great". Someone is trying to build a case for something... and comparing to Bryant really isn't a strong way to do it.So because a TEAM loses a game to another TEAM it means your QB sucks?
I agree completely there. I do not think either QB is great but I think JG is immeasurably better than people give him credit for.No. It means that it doesn't support the idea that either QB is "great". IMHO, if JG had not split time but HAD improved to the level he played vs UK... his numbers would have been much better than Bryant's against a tougher schedule.
