JG just can’t play good

The kid deserves credit for fighting through adversity. He played terrible, got booed, and dragged through the mud. Fans shouldn't be so cruel to the young man that gave his all for Tennessee. With that being said, his all isn't good enough and I'm going to loose my **** if he starts next year. Son if you truly care about this program, TRANSFER.

JG is not a good passer or runner, he is consistently late on throws and 60% of the time he throws it over the receivers head. Don't expect he has a future in football unless some form of coaching. Don't look for him to be a Peterman, doubt JG ever sees the inside of an NFL locker room. Tough kid with plenty of heart, VFL but better things ahead for the Vols at QB.

If the crowd around me was any indication the only people who think JG is good and should play at UT are on this board.

JG? I said some harsh things tonite but tried to remember the heroics in preceding 5 games.

If y'all think if JG is on campus that anyone else will be starting, you've gone mad.

6 for 9 for 91 yards the last 2 drives when it was do or die.

The other team was playing prevent 90% of those drives and giving up the underneath. Not hard to complete passes against the prevent defense.

JG still has the main issues that plagued him all season. Accuracy and not going through his reads. Several plays tonight he had a wide open man yet chose to throw it into double coverage instead.

11 games - 2,158 Passing Yard / 16 TD’s : 8 Interceptions / 59% completion percentage for 3rd year starter is atrocious in the SEC and unsustainable for winning in the SEC.

Unfortunately there isn’t a stat in there that showed a benching

Hopefully HB has the IT and JG stas around for leadership and experience off the Bench.
If HB shows IT) in Spring/Summer start him vs Charlotte and have JG in wings if he gets in trouble next game on road vs Oklahoma.

Who should have played yesterday? JG played bad but there were no other realistic options. JJ in the wild dog?

Indiana's quarterback looked pretty dang good and he is named Peyton. I wonder if one of the coaches could have just gone up to him after the game and told him to enter the portal and we would take him.

He was the only player they had I thought could play for UT.
