JG #2 QB in nation under pressure and #4 overall in SEC

He’s improving, I have been waiting all season for him the feel the pass rush and step up in the pocket and deliver a strike. He did it twice in a row on Saturday and it lead to 6 points right before the half.

Now I’m waiting for them to call a QB roll out pass to the TE on the wide side of the field and if it’s covered just tuck it and go. Once he proves that he can regularly throw on the run, defenses will slow down their full assault on him.

Kid is a tough sob for sure.He stands in and delivers the ball knowing hes going to get hit.I admire his toughness and so will the NFL guys next year.

I don't know where he stacks up in the SEC but he's obviously been the best QB on the Vols roster this year to the people that actually matters( the coaches).

I am amazed he is still upright and ambulatory behind this O line. He deserves a lot of respect for the toughness and he has made some clutch throws.

It's about time to get off the kids back IMO.

I dont care where he is from as long as he gives his all for Tennessee, which I do believe he has been doing.

Agreed. I don’t know how much more he could give unless it’s a limb or something. He has been a tackling dummy all year but still stands in there. Not only has he taken beating after beating, he has improved while doing it. That says a ton about the young man.

how can you be ranked #2 in the country, yet #4 in the conference?...and how come none of yall have picked up on this inconsistency yet? ?

The rest of the country doesn’t count the top two SEC teams. Makes everyone else look too bad.

He was impressive Saturday. He did some look offs that really paid off. Stepping up in the pocket on that TD was sweet!
