We'll see how they do when they're NOT lining up across from ETSU and Syracuse. Thats where the rubber meets the road and the stars usually matter. Georgia has abused us at the LOS, pretty much since Kirby's second year there!

Ty Redmond had the highest PFF rating of any defensive player against Syracuse. Better than Josephs, better than Arion Carter. I'm just saying that it's time for you guys to trust these coaches because they have shown time and time again that they know what they're doing and can evaluate with the best of them

Ogumoro is the next one. He was highly underranked as a recruit and our coaches loved him. He got on the field before some older guys Saturday. Look for him to be in the mix next year...especially if Moe declares early.

Yeah, I watched his hudl many times when he signed last year. He's a murderer. He's got that crazy look in his eyes that you want in an OL. I just want our fans to stop ruining these players' moments because they think they know better than our coaches. It's a really bad look to go on a social media post about a 3 star commit and say stuff like "he's mid" or "we suck".

Merritt is the same as Redmond. Had a great camp and is ready to play if needed. Our coaches (Martinez) knows what he is looking for in athletes. Tall, fast guys that can play good man coverage and have long arms. Thats his "type". We brought in 6DBs in the 2025 class and several are already hard to keep off the field. Will be even better next year after these guys mature and with 2 Bluechip Safeties that were handpicked out of the 2026 class. We are gonna have a good defensive backfield for a few years at least.

Our defensive backfield has suddenly become arguably our deepest position group. Like you said I absolutely love the 2025 class of DBs. Our o-line is also becoming a strength with how deep and talented we're becoming. If the 2026 WR class can live up to the hype its possible we go into 2026 and 2027 with a stacked roster at literally every position.
