South Carolina is a program in disarray. What are they, like 0-4 their last games? Arky yes, but they were at home. Same with South Carolina.
That simply makes no sense at all. Whether he is "expected" by random people to lose should not have any bearing on whether he wins or loses. That's irrational.
UT is 1-3 on the road but what, 7-0 at home right? I take the road status as a much better indicator of success on the last road trip coming up than what the experts think.
Irrational, exactly! I think emotion and aggresiveness have a lot to do win winning. Look at 2001, UT-UF, everyone counted UT out, they won. The very next game, UT-LSU, UT was expected to win, they lost. Fulmer is a much better coach when fans/media/everyone is talking about how UT is going to lose, he is very conservative otherwise.
UT-Vandy, who is expected to win? UT barely.
UT-Arky, who is expected to dominate, Arky, UT wins big.
The road 1-3, to me, means nothing, this team was a better road team last year, better home team this year, might be do to the fact they rotate every other year with UF.
The road teams, Cal and UF, have good qbs, good wrs, good Oline. So their strength matched UT weakness. UT would probably lost to those teams at home.
The scary thing to me is that UK has a good qb, good wrs, so maybe the secondary can step up this time.
