Jeremy Pruitt press conference to open fall practice

Seeing as how he's usually not huge on the media speaking aspect and very straight lipped I believe he seemed genuinely happy with the direction the team has taken over summer through today. That eyebrow btw.

biggest thing I got from that is the expectations for this season didn't change after 1 practice. Long way to go. How long? Dunno. Just glad we're on the journey at this point...

Just a ball coach who is a straight shooter. Tells it like he sees it. It's a breath of fresh air, and I'm ready to see how he coaches on game day. He doesn't strike me as a guy who's using a chart.

The brow runs in my family! I think Jeremy was excellent in his presser. I think he is relieved to be doing what he loves to do. This will translate to the team. And, I mean TEAM!!! Go Vols!

Just listened again and it jumped out to me how it changes the game to have two practice fields side by side, instead of end to end. Twice the reps!

well, at least we know how to huddle and what the plays are (mostly) . We will have a great band too. After looking at the teams we play , 6 wins will be a great accomplishment . JP will earn his money this year. Many on this team are slow and soft; maybe he can toughen them up. He cant make them faster though.

Side by side is a big deal. We should have sneered that more vague. Any program that’s not doing it that way is behind the times.

That would have been a great time for CJP to use a Butch line, “Let me educate you.”. I’m glad he didn’t.

It’s got to be hard for him to talk football with folks that are so ignorant about football.

I must have missed something. What is supposed to be unusual about his eyebrow?
