He runs a lot of cover 3 and Cover 1... Cover 3 match and zone principles....

I have studied his defense because I am a defensive guy.... He is extremely sneaky with adjustments he makes... He is very aggressive but also smart in the secondary to cover his traps... You will very physical play from his secondary....

Expect bitulu and Warrior to shine in this defense.... Also as a dark horse watch for shawnburger... The ball skills and physicality he can bring will be a difference maker....

We will be very good again... And it Gould take long for that to happen.... Let me be the first to welcome you 24th Head Coach of the University of Tennessee Volunteers (speculation of course)

Pruitt also is one of the best secondary specialists in the nation. Almost none better out there.

When he was in Athens, he Took UGAs passing D from 60th to 1st in a little over a season. That’s just slap out good coaching. Pure and simple.

Well, Steele could have just as easily been in Birmingham. Forgive me for waiting to see how this plays out, but people have been planning out how things would go and filling in potential coaching staffs for more than one coach lately. Gundy, Leach, etc... If it’s Pruitt then I think that has the potential to be a great hire, eventually. But it could easily be Steele. And don’t forget that the SEC office is in Birmingham. It could be anything.

You can tell there are a ton of people on this board who just don’t know enough about football to understand that Jeremy Pruitt is an elite level coach. He’s not the D backs coach at William and Mary. The guy has coached defenses on FIVE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAMS. and is one of the most elite recruiters in college football and has recruited elite talent to every school he’s been at. He has ties all over the south and knows the SEC like the back of his hand.

Some of You people are insane or just woefully ignorant of cfb.

Fulmer knows this hire is good it's on him if it's bad it's on hiim. So if he hires Pruitt i trust he has made every possible evaluation. If it goes bad we will just add him to list of bad Phil hires that killed us he would be the new Clawson of our day.

Step back from the Koolaid bro its a little early he hasn't been hired yet and you'll have to defend him like hell if he fails. He has to show me he's an ElITE HC before i sing his praises. He would need a lot of support

Jesus Christ himself could be head coach and there would still be people complaining and not happy it wasn't God

Not you "true believers" though. Coach Christ just lost every SEC game and the only thing he said in the press conference was "Love thy neighbor, and be a champion of life. These players are champions of life".

Disgruntled fan: "The only reason we hired him was b/c his dad won at UGA".
