I thought that the NFL contracts for assistants were regardless of the head coach. I know that Kiffin was upset with Al Davis because he could not bring in his own assistants.

I was wondering after the firing of Denver Broncos Head Coach Mike Shanahan, does Jeremy Bates reconsider and come to Tennessee as the Quarterback Coach/Wide Receivers coach? I know previously he had declined the job offer, but surely now after the firing he would reconsider... what does everyone think?

And does anyone else seem to think that everything is falling into place? I'm getting really excited about what's to come next season.

I think he would consider us now or he can wait and see if other nfl coaches will hire hom. shanahan may coach somewhere this season but most likely next year. he would be agreat qb coach.

I doubt it, he is pretty highly regarded I figure he will land on his feet as an OC somewhere.
